3. SEGMENT INFORMATION               Segment information is presented according to the Group's business and geographical segment division. The Group's primary form of segment reporting is according to business segments. Business segments are based on the Group's internal organisational structure and financial reporting of management. The business segments are Scheduled Passenger Traffic, Leisure Traffic, Aviation Services and Travel Services. Pricing between segments takes place at fair value. The assets and liabilities of segments are such business items which the segment uses in its business operations or which on sensible grounds are attributable to the segments. Unattributable items include tax and financial items as well as items common to the whole company. Investments consist of increases in tangible and intangible assets which are used in more than one financial year. Although the Group's four business segments are managed from Finland, they operate in five geographical areas: Finland, Europe, Asia, North America and Others.
